Our Beliefs

There is only one God. The One God has revealed Himself to us as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that is, the One God manifested in and through an authentic human life. To see Jesus is to see God.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is true in all that it teaches.
As the flawless Word of God, it is our only authority for what we believe and how we live.

Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

What to Expect

The gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We express our belief in the gospel through our obedience to the gospel. We obey the gospel and apply it to our lives by repenting of our sins (death to sin), being baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection). This threefold experience is the consistent pattern of conversion in the early church.

As Christians we are to love God and love others. We are to worship God joyfully and seek to live a life that is pleasing to him both inwardly and outwardly— in our thoughts, words, and actions. We are empowered to live a life pleasing to God through the Holy Spirit.
As a Pentecostal church, we believe that the supernatural gifts of the Spirit are for the church today and are available to all Spirit-filled believers.

Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away his church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death.

Sunday School for all ages begins at 10 AM, but we invite you to arrive a few minutes early to meet some of our members and find a seat!
Our Sunday Worship Service is held in our main facility at 1111 Center St. The front entrance is on 12th St. At each of our services, volunteers will be standing by to help guide you.
Wheelchair access is also available through the door on 12th St.
Look, we realize our parking situation is unique.
We have an agreement with the City of Deer Park so that we can use the parking at the Maxwell Community Center across the street and there are some parking spots on 12th St. along the side of our event center.
Our small parking lot by the entrance is reserved for families with small children, our elder members, and first-time guests (That’s YOU).

Our Sunday Gathering is casual and familial. We're a church for people from all walks of life.
Please wear whatever is most comfortable for you.
All children are welcome to join us in the sanctuary, but we are also passionate about communicating the truth of the gospel in age-appropriate ways.
Thus, we provide Sunday School for children ages 2 through 5th grade.
We also offer classes for all ages up to High School on most Sunday mornings.
If you have a child with special needs, please email our Sunday School Coordinator and let us know how we can serve you!
Every Sunday, we sing songs together, we pray both privately and corporately, we hear the Bible preached, and we allow for the operations of the Gifts of the Spirit.
If you have never had the opportunity to be in a Spirit-filled service before, you will discover that Biblical expressions of worship are still practiced today. Join in with us as we praise God together, in spirit and in truth.
